Designing the future connection

The first service principles bring the island journey, human warmth and regional-airline discipline into one clear ambition.

Mentawai Airways is being shaped around a simple idea: the journey should give people more time and make the islands feel closer. Future work will translate that ambition into an intuitive passenger experience, thoughtful onboard standards and connections designed around the rhythm of island life.

An arrival shaped by the islands

Shade, natural materials and quiet technology set the direction for a future gateway that already feels like Mentawai.

The gateway design language draws on deep shade, airflow, timber, stone and tropical planting. Weather awareness, resilient energy and safety systems sit quietly behind the experience, creating an arrival that feels calm, capable and connected to place.

Introducing the Mentawai Airways identity

Deep forest green, warm gold and a flowing horizon line create a distinctive new presence in island skies.

The original Mentawai Airways livery brings together the colours and movement of the archipelago in a refined regional-airline identity. It is designed to feel contemporary from a distance and richly connected to Mentawai in the details.
